What is Advantage ExpressSM Coverage?
ACE's International Advantage ExpressSM coverage is the first line of defense for U.S.-based companies with employees who periodically travel abroad. This policy provides the streamlined protection you need, priced for occasional international business travelers. International Advantage ExpressSM :
  • Protects against costly legal actions from events occurring overseas, including auto accidents
  • Avoids costly gaps in medical care coverage for employees traveling overseas
  • Insures against loss for business personal property and personal property in transit
  • Provides evacuation for emergency medical treatment when required
  • Addresses the troubling exposure from risk of kidnapping

Why do we need this?
  • Domestic General Liability policies typically cover lawsuits brought within U.S. borders only.
  • U.S. companies with employees who travel overseas may have no safety net if taken to court.
  • Accidents and sickness can occur when employees travel overseas.
  • Businesses need a way to protect themselves against Employer Liability lawsuits for employee injury sustained while traveling outside the U.S.
  • Business travelers often require timely assistance with medical, personal, travel or security matters while traveling outside the U.S.
  • In most foreign countries the required local auto insurance often fails to provide adequate limits or coverage. Non-Owned and Rented Auto Liability can be purchased to fill these gaps in coverage/limits and bring them up to a U.S. Standard.
  • International businesses face incidental property exposures.

Who needs it?
U.S.-based companies that employ workers who:
  • Periodically travel overseas (up to 10 trips annually)
  • Travel individually or in small groups (up to 10 per trip)
  • Travel up to 30 days per trip
